I AM DIANA VAN WIJNGAARDEN, A VERSATILE CREATIVE. I BEGAN WRITING YOUNG TO EXPRESS MY IMAGINATION, A PASSION I STILL HOLD. WITH YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, I'VE WORKED AS A WRITER AND JOURNALIST FOR NARATIO AND WEGENER MEDIA. I'M ALSO AN EDITOR, CREATIVE WRITER, SCREENWRITER, POET, AND CHILDREN'S AUTHOR, WITH WORK FEATURED IN VARIOUS PUBLICATIONS. I RECEIVED AN HONOURABLE MENTION FROM THE BIG APPLE FILM FESTIVAL FOR MY SCREENWRITING.

Writing
Who wouldn't want to turn their hobby into a profession? I have done it! I started following my passion for the creative arts. As a journalist, editor and creative writer for various publishers such as Narratio, Wegener and Benn in Books, I was able to put my heart and soul into my love of the writing profession. My love of children, history and culture with a touch of drama is recognisable in my work.
Community
What I find important is to give something back to the community, at any age, from young to old. Passing on knowledge and experience comes into play, but of course having fun doing what I do is just as important. Because let's face it, if you don't enjoy it, you can't convey enthusiasm.

Knowledge
Passing on knowledge and experience is my top priority. Whether it's about history, culture or nature or about strengthening people's self-confidence. The role I have been able to fulfil as a mentor and educational supervisor for young people aged 5 to 15 is very important to me and shows one side of my personality as a caring person.

Entrepreneur
As the owner of various companies in different industries and as a consultant for a better corporate structure and work processes, I have developed into a true entrepreneur. An important part of this is also developing and working in a team. Creating an influential and rewarding work environment.
2018-
Film Production
Writing is not my only passion, but I have been able to apply it to another creative art form, filmmaking. Working with inspiring and positive people has allowed me to develop my skills in the film industry as a producer, co-producer, actress, screenwriter and editor of feature and short films at a high level.
